A guided tour of the exhibition “The Sochi project: an atlas of war and tourism in the Caucasus”

Thursday, 11th of February, at 6:00 pm., at M. K Čiurlionis art museum, M. Žilinskas art gallery, a director of KAUNAS PHOTO festival Mindaugas Kavaliauskas will give a guided tour of the exhibition “The Sochi project: an atlas of war and tourism in the Caucasus”.

The exhibition “The Sochi project: an atlas of war and tourism in the Caucasus” – is a result of five years work by two Dutch authors photographer Rob Hornstra and journalist Arnold van Bruggen. The history of Sochi (Russia) surroundings and drastic transformations before the Winter Olympic Games in 2014 is revealed at exhibition. The exhibition has been presented in numerous galleries and museums from New York to Delhi and it was also opened in Kaunas on 15th of January. Mindaugas Kavaliauskas, invites once again to come and to discover this amazing exhibition during a guided tour as it attracts many visitors in various galleries.
